Will You Be Ready?

Luke 21:36

Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.

This week saw the village of Blatten, in Switzerland, virtually completely destroyed by default tons of ice, rock and mud flowing from parts the mountain above it collapsing, with the weight of the Birch glacier. All the inhabitants and their livestock were saved as they were evacuated earlier in May. Geologists had been monitoring the situation; that’s why Blatten was evacuated. But no-one, not even the experts, expected such huge devastation.

The Bible says what will happen when the Lord Jesus returns and those who love Him will be evacuated to heaven as it was Jesus who has rescued us from God’s wrath by taking the punishment for sin… my sin, your sin, the sin of the world… on the cross. Will you be ready when He comes? Will you listen to the warnings?
