Messy Church
When: 2nd Sunday of the Month
Time: 3:30pm-5:00pm
At our April Messy Church we made bead necklaces and “fish” sandwiches and cupcakes. The 9+ children did some activities of their own. Our next Messy Church is on 12th May and will include activities with a Pentecost theme. Come and find out what exactly we shall be doing! There will also be a 9+ activity session. The format includes:
- Welcome, with refreshments and starter activities.
- Main activities, including a variety of games, supervised toddler play area, baking, craft, puzzles, knitting etc
- Bible story & prayer
- Ending refreshments
All are welcome to this free, fun event!
The concept of Messy Church can be found on the national Messy Church website but essentially it an event aimed at families of all ages (children must be accompanied). It is run once a month for about an hour and a half, usually on the second Sunday of each month. The door will be open from 3.20pm for a 3:30pm start.
